Featured project: WallpaperArt

WallpaperArt is a new project aimed at selecting the best wallpapers and to bring the user and the artist together. There are wallpaper trends and beautiful artwork all over the internet. These guys had the idea to put it all in one place, but only for the outstanding ones.

If you're one of the aspiring artists very much in love with creating wallpapers, you can be featured on the WallpaperArt blog! Just check this page for all the info.

I must say I am impressed with the selection of wallpapers found on the blog so far. I'm very curious what gets chosen next and I'll check back for sure! Meanwhile, Enjoy the Art! is their motto :)

Featured Artist: Kaloian Toshev

Kaloian Toshev is a 22-year old artist from Bulgaria. His affection and desire for perfection in what regards female forms led him to become the artist he is. Here you can find his website, which is a marvel of colours, form, an interplay between the complexity of shapes and the aspirations of the mind.

Below I selected a few of my favourites from his love portfolio.

Movie: Agnes Varda

The beaches of Agnes is a biographical movie, in a retrospective style of storytelling, where memory plays a central part as artistic device. Read more here. I am really looking forward to watch this movie. It seems suitable to my taste. Not to mention that it matches the season retrospective moods too.
